About this pet

I got these 2 a couple months back after being rescued from a bad situation. They where being kept in a basement by their owner of 20 years and we’re not being fed. I don’t know how long they were in there but I know they were starved when we got them. I believe they are both female but I thought they were male at first and named them Kyle and Walter and never changed it. Kyle is the one who will come out of his shell and walk around with you while Walter is very shy. I don’t know much about turtles but they have been in captivity for 20 years (since birth) and I don’t think they can survive on their own. I’m going to college in the fall and will not be able to take them so I’m looking for someone to take them. preferably someone who knows things about turtles and how to care for them.
