Meet Milo ❤️ Milo is a ~9-year-old dachshund/Jack Russell mix looking for a calm, loving home. This is an incredibly difficult decision for our family because he has been deeply loved and part of our family for many years. For his age, Milo still has plenty of energy and loves attention, playtime, and being near his people. He can be very sweet, affectionate, and loyal once he feels comfortable. Unfortunately, having children, made us realize that Milo becomes stressed and uncomfortable around young kids. He has shown signs that tell us our busy household is no longer the right place for him, and we want to make a proactive and responsible decision before anyone gets hurt or overwhelmed. Milo would do best in: * an adult-only home or home with older respectful children * a quieter, more predictable environment * a family that understands dog boundaries This decision is heartbreaking for us, finding the right home matters to us.
