About this pet

We’re looking for a loving forever home for Ashland. •He’s 12 years old & he is fixed. •Breed: Half Egyptian Mau & the other half Siamese/domestic black long hair •He has so much love in him and loves attention. He’s intuitive, talkative and friendly towards guests. •He should NOT be rehomed with other cats or dogs unless you trust you may know exactly how to help them get along with ease. ‼️ Serious inquiries only, please. There may be a small rehoming fee to ensure he’s not taken for granted. • • Small Backstory: He was my chosen kitten when Aiko had her first litter and I originally rehomed him to live with my friends who owned the dad cat (Hendrix) & also his sister as their chosen kitten. This was due to territorial issues with a pitbull me and my ex owned at the time. (Ashland was the one bullying the pitbull) Years later, it became a similar issue with his family there (they also had acquired a dog) and recently I was asked if I would be willing to take him back. I was reluctant, but eventually agreed and was so excited to care for him. I thought maybe he would remember his mom and they would get along great and that it would even give her company while Anthony & I were away. Although he had adapted well to us and our home, he has not adapted well with Aiko since December. I have tried to use the typical tricks to get them to get used to eachother but they cannot get along and it is creating too much stress for Aiko to the point she is constantly on edge and doesn’t trust to even come out of our bedroom. She doesn’t derseve to live this way. They would tear eachother apart if they could as they both have claws. Needless to say, I’m looking for someone who will give him the unconditional love he deserves. This is very important to me. I do NOT want to see him end up in a shelter, as I do not want to compromise his entire life.
