About this pet

hi, i’m clarence. i’m a rescue aussie mix and i have been with my current family since i was a pup. My favorite thing in the world is playing fetch with a frisbee: you’ll have to tell me a stop because i could do it all day. i love being active, but i also feel the safest in my crate. I do very well in my crate when my parents are working. I also love playing with my toys. i am a bit anxious with people i don’t know, and it takes me a little while to feel safe. I am currently on paroxetine. I really need someone who can give me a lot of patience because once i’m comfortable, i am a very happy dog. after i turned 2, i decided i really needed to be the only dog in my household. Although i miss my older brother, i do much better when i am the only pup in the house. My original family wants to have kids, so i need a home where i can have more space and attention. My parents have been searching for a new home for me for over a year, and although they will miss me, i am excited to have an environment where i can truly thrive. I think i’d be best with an experienced dog owner and my training institute said i’d be ideal in a home with no kids because i am picky with who i trust. If you’re willing to be patient with me (and throw my frisbee a couple more times, please.), i will be a good dog for you. ideal home: no kids, no pet in the household.
