About this pet

Max is approximately 7 years old (I say approximately because I am uncertain, as I am not his first owner). I adopted Max about 4-5 years ago. He's been vaccinated before, but is not up-to-date. Max is not real playful anymore, as he is getting older and slowing down, physically. Max is good with kids and other pets. Though he at times has a big loud bark, he doesn't bite. I recently moved into a small studio apartment where pets are not allowed, so I must find him a new home. Max's nature of being a large breed dog, suggests a larger home with plenty of open space and a big yard to run around. Max is a mix of breeds that are high maintenance and require consistent upkeep. As he grows older, Max could develop health issues that require expensive vet visits. I cannot provide, or care for him as well as I feel he deserves, or as well as another perhaps could. Though its hard to admit, I cannot give him the best care possible. I feel it's only right to find Max a family who can.
