About this pet

prairie is a 6 yr old Australian Shepherd and Texas heeler mix. she was born in Oklahoma and was born to have a nice yard or out in the country. she is super intelligent and a sweetheart. she has never bit anyone in her life. she liked to talk to you and howl it is the cutest. I gained prairie from a neighbor in my apartment building because he wasn't giving her the proper care. so I stepped in and she became mine. I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment and I feel that prairie needs a yard at least to run in of not out in the country. she just seems so bored being stuck in my apartment most of the time. I can take care of her perfect I just want more for her. she deserves to be able to be the country dog she's meant to be. I will only consider possible new owners that can provide more than I can give her. she does well with cats but gets a little too excited around other dogs. she listens very well but she will need to be socialized a lot more around dogs for her to not get excited.
