About this pet

Louis is 16 years old, and his owner is going abroad to study for two years and, unfortunately, cannot take him along. Both a foster home for this period and a permanent new home are options—what’s best for the situation and for Louis. Louis has already lived in the Netherlands, France, and Portugal, and has stolen hearts everywhere he’s gone—everyone who has cared for him has loved him. He’s independent but also enjoys attention and being petted. What Louis needs: A quiet, stable environment (no chaos) Access to a yard, even if it’s small—he loves being outside Preferably not a household with multiple children or other pets. He can perhaps adjust to one child or one other pet, but multiple at once is too much for him. A patient cat owner who understands the needs of an older cat.
