About this pet

Hogie: Gender: Male Fixed: Yes Age: 1 1/2 years old Maple: Gender: Female Fixed: No Age: 1 1/2 years old Maple and Hogie are siblings who we’ve had since they were 3 months. They were born September 22nd ***, making them a year and a half old. They love each other very much and can not be separated. They’re usually playing together or sleeping together, but they do have different yet similar personalities. They both love to be lap cats, Hogie usually lays on your lap and maples likes laying on your legs. Maple is a bit timid when you go in fast to pet her but she mostly stays while you’re petting her. Hogie loves belly rubs the most, and macies likes back pets. They are a little scared of loud noises and large movements. Recently Hogie has been getting the zoomies but with more room that shouldn’t be too much of a problem. A huge issue with us is that we can’t provide them with the space they need. They both can be picked up but not for a long period of time, they will most likely want to be set down soon after picked up. They have never scratched or bit us but when we offer a small piece of food to Hogie he tends to slap it instead of taking it. We also want to give our cat tower with them because they use it most out of our cats so we know it’ll be best used with Hogie and Maple. It is a bigger tower so we will either need to disassemble it or a big vehicle to pick it up. They’re both explorers so they will likely find themselves in places you might not want them in but they really don’t have behavioral issues. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to treat them for fleas as of today so that will need to be done in the near future. We’re losing a part of our lives without them but can’t wait to see how happy they are with their new owner. Preferably they go to a home with only dogs, no other cats. They don’t quite get along with other cats but they love our dogs. If there are any questions please feel free to ask away!
