About this pet

Kai was born on October 17, 2022, and he is truly such a gentle, sweet soul. We rescued him from a family who unfortunately wasn’t able to give him the care he needed, and since then, he has come such a long way. Because of his background, Kai does need a little extra patience, attention, and reassurance. He can experience some anxiety, although it has improved significantly with us. He is incredibly smart, very food motivated, and has so much potential to continue learning and training with someone willing to put in the time. Kai loves going on walks and is surprisingly gentle with his belonging. He is kennel trained, although his house training still needs some work and consistency. Sadly, I recently started graduate school, and I’ve realized that I can no longer give Kai the amount of time and attention that he deserves. This is not an easy decision, and finding the right home for him is incredibly important to us.
