About this pet

Lucky is a 13-year-old Dachshund who loves nothing more than being by your side. He’s deaf, has only 3 teeth, and is very affectionate—he thrives on companionship and cuddles. He does have urinary incontinence and isn’t fully potty trained, so he’ll need a home that can manage that (pads or diapers work well). Because he loves attention, he can get a bit jealous at times, but this is easily managed with reassurance and affection. He is vaccinated and recently had a vet visit with labs. We’re heartbroken to rehome him, but want to make sure he gets the care and attention he deserves. He would do best in a patient, loving home,especially one familiar with senior dogs.
