About this pet

Coconut (Coco), the sweetest girl ever! my other cat has been having an issue with her for a few months now for seemingly no reason, and I can no longer accommodate both of them PROS: very affectionate and loving, loves all people, including kids and other animals she loves to sleep on you/ in your lap, on your chest or stomach if she’s allowed too she doesn’t always love to be held for long periods of time, she will simply jump out of your arms (no aggression) CONS: She is not fixed does have all of her shots/ rabies etc, and gets a monthly flea/ tick drop at the base of her neck, but is due for a vet visit soon, when she’s in heat she can get very loud especially in the middle of the night for 3-4 days, but loves belly scratches and love to help her feel better — I’d say the worst thing is she can be quite food aggressive, especially lately, I work a lot now and don’t have the time she deserves from me for it not to be an issue… She knocks over trash cans (such as a kitchen trash can) even the locking lid ones that are used for dogs, so Ive learned to keep all trash bags and trash cans locked away in a separate room or she will tear them up. she will eat any food that’s left on the counter or table, and has a tendency to try and steal anything in a wrapping, for example: if you leave a Reese’s out she will try to take it, if there’s bread (like a loaf in a bag) left on the counter she will tear into it, same goes for chip bags and anything her teeth can tear Tips: does well when she gets small meals every few hours as it lessens her food aggression, and may need to be locked In a separate room for a while when preparing food for yourself and while eating it and cleaning up she is very smart, if you have light weight cabinets you may want to add child locks to them ~ if you have any questions please feel free to ask! don’t be scared away by the information she is a wonderful addition to any family
