About this pet

we have made a sad decision to try to rehome our 7 month old golden irish pup. Phoenix is a large male dog (still intact) and already 76lbs. He has been in a loving home with lots of children and is a friend to everyone including other pets and strangers. Because this breed is so high in energy, Phoenix has been mischievous and has caused some neighbor problems. garden digging and leaving cards at neighbors, we have decided to let pets go for a season until our children are older. Initial training with hunting looks very promising as he lives looking for birds and responds well to commands. we have been using vibrations collar and he responds well to that. (never shock) sit commands are good, but fetching and stay commands are intermittent. Phoenix is very healthy and is up to date with all shots and dewormed on schedule. he was seen by a vet two weeks ago and recieved his rabies vaccine at that time.
