About this pet

We have about an 8 year old Pitbull Mix (F) whose name is Peppa. She originally was adopted by my sister at the pound she was working at. My sister ended up not being able to have the time or money to be able to care for her, especially for her severe storm anxiety. We attempted to adopt her to try and retain some familiarity in her life but we’ve ended up with the same issue. We’re hoping to find someone who is willing and able to adopt her from us who has the time and energy to take care of her. The main things that I want to make sure are clarified about Peppa is that she has severe storm anxiety that can be both extremely destructive to her and her surroundings (drawing her own blood and broken teeth). She is obviously startled by storms but she will also be triggered from similar sounds that a storm could create. She needs someone who can be there to care for her when she is triggered. Other than that, she is nothing but sweet to both animals and people.
