About this pet

Looking to rehome my sweet pug, Candy. Candy is an 11-year-old female pug who has been with our family since she was a puppy. She is incredibly loving, gentle, and well-behaved. Candy has some age-related health needs. She requires eye drops twice daily for dry eyes and receives allergy injections for environmental allergies. She also has a cough that comes and goes and a swelling on her left hind leg that is currently being monitored. Candy is nearly blind, though she can still detect light and shadows, and her hearing is also diminished. Despite this, she remains happy and affectionate. She is house-trained, low-energy, rarely barks, and loves being close to her people. Once she bonds with someone, she’ll follow them around the house and happily nap nearby. Because of her age, Candy cannot handle long walks and prefers a quiet, comfortable lifestyle. I’m looking for a patient, loving home where she can spend her senior years surrounded by care and companionship.
