About this pet

His name is Sturgill, he will be 2 in June. I’ve had him since he was about 4 months old. Since then, he’s always been nervous around strangers and foolishly I’d hoped that it would eventually go away. However, it never did. At our home, he’s gotten alittle too comfortable with barking, lunging, growling at strangers who visit, he just needs time to warm up to people then he turns into the biggest puppy. We consulted trainers regarding his fear aggression, who all quoted us no less than $5k and we just can’t afford that right now. He is the sweetest baby with our other dog, my husband and I. He prefers to be little spoon in bed, is very gentle when he’s given treats, and listens very well. He is up to date on his vaccines, and also has experience with kids 3-12yo and he does very well with them. I used to take him to the dog park regularly however since we got our new puppy I haven’t been able to take him, but he does well there.
