About this pet

Hello! This cutie is nearly 3 years old American Pit Bull Terrier. Her name is Phoebe. She is a ball of energy and she has so much character. My mother adopted her from a local shelter and after 3 days, she felt like she was too much. Rather than return Pheeb to the shelter, I decided to take her home with me to introduce to my pets. I have an older black lab who is tolerant of her because he’s a good boy. But he does but like her at all. Their temperaments are simply not compatible. She is very friendly and gets along with dogs and cats well. Phoebe would love a friend who can keep up at playtime. Out of boredom, she can be destructive. She was attacked last year by a German shepherd, I broke it up. It looked a lot worse than it was. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem to effect how she interacts with others dogs and she’s still more than happy to have a friend. She didn’t fight back and she was very confused. I want to emphasize that she is not aggressive at all. She is weary of men especially yelling (like an argument) thanks to an ex. I love her so much, but my OG dog would be happier if I rehomed her. I’ll ensure she’s up to date on everything and I’m more than happy to answer any questions. I just want someone to love her and give her a chance to have a happier life.
