Labrador Retriever – Sweet Lab/Catahoula Mixes!

About this pet

These puppies are sisters. I saved them and their siblings from a litter of pups. They were born May 21st, so they are about 10 months old. They show a bit of aggression/proving dominance towards each other when eating, but they have never hurt each other and they never EVER show aggression towards humans, including kids. They are VERY sweet with my 2 year old. Teacup, the brown pup, was separated from the rest of the litter at 3 weeks and her mom stopped feeding her. (This is either because Teacup was the runt and the mom had 11 puppies, so she chose the weakest to abandon, or because she did not think Teacup was going to survive.) I found her and bottle-fed her, then I found homes for the rest of the puppies. We could not find a home for Lori, the black pup, so we took her in as well. These puppies are up to date on their vaccines, but they have not been spayed. However, I have an appointment to get them both spayed soon, unless you would rather take them to get spayed yourself with a specific vet. These puppies are full of personality and very energetic. They are as sweet as can be. Normally, I would not be willing to separate them, but in this case I am. With their bit of fighting for dominance, likely due to being littermates, I think they would be happy separated. However, if you’ve worked with dogs like this before and are good at training, I think it’s something that can be worked on if you want both dogs together. I would love to keep these babies, but I don’t have the time to train them or care for them as much as I would like to. I’m hoping to find a loving home, or two loving homes, for these babies to join. I am charging a rehoming fee purely to make sure these dogs are going to someone who will care about them and consider dogs as family members.
