About this pet

I am looking for a loving and responsible person or family who can temporarily take in my 6-year-old American Akita while I work through a difficult housing situation. Due to my current apartment’s restrictions, I am being forced into a situation where I may lose my housing if I cannot find a solution quickly. I am currently trying to break my lease and find a house rental where I will be able to have him again. This is not because I don’t want him or can’t care for him — he is my family, and my goal is to have him back once I have stable housing. I am looking for someone who can provide him with a safe, comfortable home temporarily until I am able to get into a place where I can bring him back. I want to be completely transparent: I am hoping and planning to get him back. I am not looking to permanently rehome him unless circumstances make that absolutely unavoidable. He is a 6-year-old American Akita. He is loyal, loving, and has a big personality.
