About this pet

beloved female “nanny” cat This is Shade! Shes an 8 yr old Russian Blue breed. She’s the sweetest old lady. LOVES babies and will probably want to lay near them. I’ve had her since she was 12 weeks old and she grew up with my oldest son who is also 8 yrs old. She’s since grown to watch me have two more children and has gone through countless moves with us. Shes always done well with adjusting to new surroundings while with me. But as of lately I’ve had to move her twice to family friends homes and I believe because she’s not with me and the kids she’s become stressed and very sad. my family and I are currently experiencing a housing crisis, and we are in a family shelter in Fairfax, while we work to regain stability and find a home which should be within 2 to 3 months max I desperately need to find a home for her to be in temporarily. preferably one with no animals or 1 extra animal. she likes her space and the quiet as much as possible, but most of all she loves affection and talking
