About this pet

Arlo: 65 lb cream/white Standard Poodle, purebred unregistered. He is neutered, chipped, and always up to date on vaccinations, heartworm preventative, flea/tick protection, and grooming. Arlo is very well-trained and would make an outstanding therapy dog. He has completed: individual puppy training, 3-week board and train, Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Urban CGC, Advanced Obedience, Public Manners, Beginning Agility, and Service Dog training with professional trainers. While great at providing support and preventing falls, Arlo has not gotten the hang of retrieving or holding things, so he has not worked as a service dog, but excelled at visiting a nursing home, showing great patience, calmness, and intuition. Arlo lives with a small dog, four cats, pet rats, a small parrot, and an ever-changing roster of foster kittens. He gets on well with every human and animal he has ever met, with one exception: a very high-energy, teething and mouthy foster puppy, who Arlo attacked, twice.
