About this pet

I’m looking to rehome my two purebred miniature Xoloitzcuintles (Mexican hairless dogs). Tato (male) Toto (female). They are 8 years old, fixed, and up to date on shots (Bordetella, DA2PP, and Rabies). They are healthy, Toto does have allergies and is on Apoquel.They MUST stay together as they have never known life without one another. They do not do well with cats or other small animals. Preferably the only pets in the home. Toto does well with children but I don’t think Tato will. They do well with other dogs but are protective of the house. Ideally, I’m looking for someone with knowledge of the breed, a fenced yard, and someone who can give Tato an active lifestyle. Tato does tend to bark, so an apartment is not recommended. They could both use more training with their manners, it sometimes takes them awhile to learn something, but once they do they will never forget it. Both are crate trained and not food aggressive with each other. Will throroughly vet anyone interested.
