Sobre esta mascota

Bernard is around 40 pounds, with a white coat, fawn markings, and the most remarkable ears you've ever seen. He came to us from the Richmond Animal Control in late January has spent the last five months becoming a well-mannered, loving dog who is deeply bonded to his people. Bernard has completed individual training sessions with trainers through Dog Lovers RVA and an intensive training program including a three-week board and training program with professional trainers at Breakthrough K9. He walks well on a leash, knows his commands (sit, down, place, stay, come, out, drop it, leave it, touch) and is affectionate and playful with the people he trusts. Bernard is looking for a very specific kind of home, and we want to be upfront about why we are rehoming. He is a reactive dog, and while his training has come a long way, he has had two bite incidents with unfamiliar people and has shown dog-directed aggression that makes him unsuitable for a multi-dog household.
