Meet Ace 🖤 Ace is a black terrier mix with a big heart who is looking for the right forever home. He came from a shelter and we believe he may have experienced abuse or neglect in the past, so he needs someone patient, understanding, and willing to give him the time he deserves to feel safe and loved. Ace does best in a calm, quiet home with a single person or elderly owner. He bonds deeply with his person once trust is built, but he does not do well around children, other dogs, or a lot of new people. Because of this, Ace needs to be the only pet in the home and would do best in a home with no kids and minimal visitors. He would thrive with someone who understands shy or fearful dogs and can provide consistency, love, and a peaceful environment.
