About this pet

Gender: Male Age: Adult Cats: No Puppies: Yes Children: Yes Infants: No Neutered: No Crate Trained: Mostly House Trained: Yes Leash Trained: Yes Rehoming Fee: $0 (Vet reference required) This is Ookami. He's a Shepsky (Husky/German Shepherd Mix) He's 4 years old and a very sweet disposition. He adores people and other dogs, wanting to greet every new dog he meets. He is a Shepsky so he does have high energy and will chase anything that runs. He adores a lot of room to run and would benefit from being in a home that's got a lot of outside room and a high fence, at least five feet. He is an escape artist so make sure your fence is locked, and any shelters are not near the fencing, as he will jump. Also, make sure he has a kiddie pool at least to play in, or he will jump the fence to look for one in any way he can. While he will run away, he will come home, but don't bank on just that and take the proper precautions. His former owner had to surrender him due to him and his housemate barking and disturbing the neighbors so much they tried to call animal control. However, Huskies talk a lot, they make noise, it's what they do. So no one who lives in an apartment will be accepted.
